Job Overview
The Digital Marketing Account Manager supports the Senior Account Manager in all client communication. They easily work with a blend of different clients every day including start-ups, small-med sized business owners, corporate marketing teams, and agency partners across a variety of industries. Day to day responsibilities can include client campaign kickoffs, presentations, monthly status calls, handling urgent client requests, and collecting and filtering client input to the internal team. They also protect the time and schedules of the operations team and help guide clients through our process, project deliverables, and reporting. They are the “advocates for the client and ambassadors of the agency.” The Digital Marketing Account Manager will report directly to the Senior Account Manager.

Who You Are
- You’re an energetic, organized, creative, and most importantly friendly person.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of marketing experience.
- You’re in tune with people’s emotions and nonverbal cues.
- You know “enough to be dangerous” as it refers to digital marketing analytics and website development. (No…HTML is not an abbreviation for Hot Tamale.)
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

1 – 2 years agency or account management experience

Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, a sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment

Knowledge of the following website builds: WordPress, Woocommerce, SquareSpace, Shopify Systems

Knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Agency Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager, GSheets, Search Console, etc and being able to present data to clients in ROI terms

In-depth knowledge of Google Drive applications, Project Management and time tracking tools (Wrike, Asana, Basecamp, or similar), and aptitude to quickly learn new tools

Solid understanding of the digital landscape, including everything from ecommerce websites, immersive and personalized online experiences to online campaigns, social media and more

Creative problem solving skills that enable you to evaluate a creative approach, brainstorm, and seek unexpected, original and innovative ideas

Careful attention to detail and sensitivity to version control issues
Compensation
The Digital Marketing Account Manager has a base salary, based on experience, with additional commission opportunities based on client upsells.
